Efficient residual waste management is quite challenging - not only in
Germany as a follow up of the ban organic waste for landfilling since June 2005.
Interesting developments can be seen in nearly all the EU Member States as a
result of the EU Landfill Directive. Therefore the German MBT Organisation ASA e.V.
and the European Compost Network ECN organise the International 6th ASA Waste
Days from 1st to 3rd of February 2006 in the Congress Centre Hanover, Germany.
For this purpose the organisers compiled an attractive international programme
considering the actual waste management situation of residual waste treatment in
Germany and in the EU Member States including practical experiences with the
application and the real potential of the MBT technology.
The presentations will be translated simultaneously in English and German.
A technical exhibition and an excursion to MBT plants take place during the
conference days. Useful contacts with colleagues from the waste scene will be
realised during the famous evening event in Meyers Hof (Zoo Hanover).

Eine effiziente Restabfallbehandlung wird zu einer immer größeren
Herausforderung - nicht nur in Deutschland durch das Deponierungsverbot von
organischen Abfällen seit dem 1. Juni 2006. Interessante Entwicklungen können in
fast allen Europäischen Mitgliedsstaaten beobachtet werden, ausgelöst durch die
EU Deponierichtlinie. Aus diesem Grunde veranstaltet die ASA e.V. in Kooperation
mit dem Europäischen Kompostnetzwerk ECN/ORBIT e.V. die 6. internationalen ASA
Abfalltage vom 1. bis 3. Februar 2006 im Congress Centrum Hannover. Dazu haben
die Organisatoren ein attraktives internationales Programm zur
Restabfallbehandlungssituation in Deutschland und den EU Mitgliedsstaaten
zusammengestellt. Besonderer Schwerpunkt dieser Veranstaltung werden die
praktischen Erfahrungen und Potentiale der MBA Technologie sein.
Die Vorträge werden deutsch-englisch simultan übersetzt. Eine Ausstellung und
Exkursion begleiten die Konferenz. Nützliche Kontakte zu Berufskollegen lassen
sich bei der berühmten Abendveranstaltung in Meyers Hof (Zoo Hannover) knüpfen.
