The international "Energy Crops - Creating Markets for Heat and Electricity" -conference will be organised on 21-22 September in Pulawy, Poland.

The objective of the international conference is to discuss the implementation aspects of growing and utilisation of energy crops and how it is best organised in energy production with respect to ecological, technical, economic, logistic and administrative aspects. The scope of the international seminar will be on the utilisation of annual and perennial energy crops grown in Europe with a potential to become significant in the short-medium term (grasses, maize, hemp, Miscanthus, willow, poplar, etc.). During the event, international experts on various parts of the production chain of different energy crops will gather together to exchange information and ideas. The seminar will provide an ideal platform for dissemination of the major findings of the project to a well-informed audience.
