The political business environment for the expansion of renewable energies has served as a catalyst for the German wood energy market, precipitating strong growth prospects. The continuous networking of versatile market partners, the exchange of experience and the conglomeration of international players is vital for the future growth of the industry.
The "IHE® WoodEnergy 2006 - International conference and Trade Fair for Wood Energy" has established itself as the central event for the German wood energy market. Numerous projects have been initialised and important market information was exchanged. During the two day conference, 250 participants from the economic, political and scientific sectors obtained information about new market developments, new technologies, and were given the opportunity to socialise and network within the industry.
The target groups are all players involved in the value added chain of energy from wood. These include all relevant associations and societies, the wood and bioenergy sector, the agricultural sector, forestry, the machine and plant construction sector, engineering companies, financial service providers, information centres, municipal authorities policy makers, utility companies, energy distributors, science andresearch establishments and political representatives.
The conference "IHE® WoodEnergy 2006" takes place in the context of the "IHE®WoodEnergy 2006 – International Trade Fair for Wood Energy" and the two partner trade fairs "RENEXPO® 2006" and "reCONSTRUCT". These events expect 380 exhibitors altogether, 18,000 trade fair visitors and 1,600 participants for the various conferences on renewable energy, bioenergy and construction.
